Eric Sotsky:

Eric has been playing hockey since he was 5 years old. He grew up in Northern New Jersey where he played club hockey for the Ice House Avalanche helping to lead the team to its first ever berth in the 2002 Nationals. He played his High School hockey at Bergen Catholic, where he also helped the school win it's first State Championship in 2001. Eric played 4 seasons of college hockey at West Chester University where he again brought his winning ways and positive attitude to his team, leading the Golden Rams to a berth in their first ACHA Division 1 Nationals Tournament in school history. For his efforts, Eric was named to the ACHA D-1 All Tournament team and All ECHA team. In his Junior and Senior years, he was also honored to be named as an ACHA D-1 Academic All-American.

Always a student of the game, Eric started coaching at age 14 and has coached many goaltenders of different ages, styles and abilities in the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey areas. He spent 4 years coaching with Jim Margatich at the Give em' Nothing Goaltending School in North Jersey. He also has been coaching with the Junior Flyers as both a goaltending coach and an assistant coach for the past four years. He was formerly the Head Coach of the Downingtown West Middle School and Junior Varsity teams. Eric's main teaching philosophy is to help each goalie learn how to be both physically and mentally prepared to use their unique talents and be at their best every time they step on the ice.

 

Jeff Wild, CSCS:

Jeff Wild played 5 seasons of college hockey in the ACHA. While at PSU he took his team to nationals and was awarded First Team All National Tournament Team and First Team All American. The following season Jeff was again awarded First Team All American and completed the 5 for 5 All -Star teams for every year he was in school. Before college, Jeff played in the NJYHL for Lawrenceville and attended the Great Canadian Exposure weekend in Winnipeg , before opting to attend school.

 

After graduation Jeff continues an active interest in hockey. Jeff currently is a goalie coach for the Jr. Flyers, numerous H.S. teams and in his 5th season as the assistant coach for PSU - Brandywine. Jeff also has worked with the NCAA Division 1 Merrimack College Ice Hockey team in Strength and Conditioning. Jeff is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, through the NSCA and also a candidate for his MS in Excercise Science & Health Promotion, performance enhancement and injury prevention. Jeff's main goal in teaching is to improve his students weakness and make their strengths unbeatable.
