About Brick Wall Goaltending

 

The role of ice hockey goaltender is arguably the most demanding in the realm of sports, and the requirements for successful goaltending are often more mental than physical. The position calls for incredible physical strength and speed, confident leadership skills, and the ability to stay focused under pressure, even when that pressure comes in the form of a 5 on 3 power play or game saving breakaway.

Brick Wall Goaltending recognizes the challenges and stresses that can face today's developing goaltender, but emphasizes the reason young athletes choose hockey in the first place - it's fun.

 

 

Brick Wall implements a variety of teaching tools including on and off-ice training, small class size with the option for private lessons, and video analysis of goaltender technique.

The instructors at Brick Wall Goaltending Academy have been skating since they could walk and crouching in a crease for about as long. They've started for college teams, led squads to national tournaments, and have the years and wins of experience to know what works. In addition to being expert goaltenders themselves, our instructors have coached numerous hockey teams, from youth to college level play, and always with a focus on goaltending development.
